On arriving at Staffordshire show ground the last thing on our minds was another dog. Having lost Pharcourse Arria in January we were still thinking about our options in adding to our flock. However as Robin and I approached the ring we were greeted by Glenis and I had a not too soft a poke in the side with the voice saying No!! [Robin's-- I had taken the tablets]
To cut a long story short we now have Kilborne Maida who is settling in quite well. She has been accepted by the other 2 reprobates and is working on becoming a significant part of the act. Maida at 14 months loves to chew things mainly paper but unlike other youngsters she has not set about trying to redesign the coffee table, no she redesigned my mobile phone [It doesn't work anymore and lots of important numbers were lost!!] Still these things are sent to try us.
She now has her feet well and truly under the table when not on it. Though still a little reluctant to get in the van she is perfectly happy once there and travels very well. We go for long walks on what is the site of a disused colliery;there are no sheep [exception for Wales!!!] and very few other dogs; it is a long way from any main road and hence is great for all the girls to race safely.
