1st. Blackford & Morrisey’s Hartvalley Mama Mia.
17 month old, good sized, workmanlike girl in fit condition, very good front assembly, plenty of depth and heart room, strong rear quarters, correct feet and good tail set & carriage, moved soundly with drive.

2nd. Grimshaw’s Jamalison Winter Gayle.
A very beautiful 9 month old baby, feminine head with dark eyes & neat ears, long neck with good reach leading to well laid shoulder, correct topline & rear with good bend of stifle. In hard condition & moving out well. A very promising youngster who I will watch with interest.
Best Puppy & thrilled to hear she took Reserve Best Puppy in show. Congratulations

1st. Grimshaw’s Jamalison Melody.
Very pretty, well balanced 2 year old bitch, super head with correct eye & the best of ears, strong neck leading to well laid shoulder, enough depth of body with good topline, nice rear quarters with good bend of stifle. Shown in good condition & moved sound & true with good length of stride. A lovely young hound who can only continue to get better. Reserve Best of Breed.

2nd. Janson’s Nixophel Crystal Amethist.JW
A close decision between these two. A quality bitch who is well balanced, with correct construction & much to like about her, just couldn’t match the winner on movement today.

LIMIT 5 (4 ABS)

1st Gilhooly & Morrissey’s Lord Seafield of Hartvalley.
A substantial, masculine hound with plenty of bone & body. Pleasing head with a dark eye, strong neck, good depth of body, plenty of heart room & rib. Move very well with long ground covering strides.

OPEN DOG 5 (1 abs)

1st Cheshire’s Neroche Hennessy of Deeranwith.
4 year old dog, not a big boy but full of quality, balanced construction and shown in good condition. He has a beautiful head with dark eyes and lovely neat ears, strong neck leading to a well laid back shoulder & good return of upper arm. A correct topline & strong rear with good bend of stifle & low set hocks. Sound movement & showing well. Best of Breed

2nd Llewellyn’s Kilbourne Macallan at Matahari.
Mature 4 year old masculine hound who I liked very much for type. Well off for body & bone, deep chest & good rib. Correct bend of stifle & the best of feet. Just not as positive on the move as the winner & quite heavy in coat. Still a very nice boy who has much to like about him.

3rd Wiggan’s Killoeter Grilse.

1st Grimshaw’s Grayflax Mystic to Jamalison.
At 4 year old this bitch just keeps improving as she matures, a quality girl, well balanced and feminine. Very pretty head with dark eye and super little ears, good neck on well laid shoulder, deep in chest and an excellent topline, the best of legs on nice tight, well knuckled feet. Moved out well, sound & true. Shown in good coat & condition. Pushed hard for the RBOB but her young kennel mate just had that bit extra today.

2nd Blackford & Morrisey’s Beardswood Minna at Hartvalley.
Another quality, mature bitch in super condition. Lovely head, dark eye & neat ears, slightly shorter in neck & not the lay back of shoulder as one but has a strong, deep body, good bone and nice tight feet. Broad rear quarters with good bend of stifle & low set hocks. Very sound on the move & nicely handled. A close decision between these two really nice girls.

3rd. Janson’s Grayflax Lady of the Lake to Nixophel.
