2007/8 MICK AND I SENT A PAIR OF DEERHOUNDS TO RUSSIA. THEY HAVE BEEN DOING VERY WELL IN THE BREED AND HOUND GROUPS BUT NOW WE HAVE NEWS OF COURSING - WELSH WIZZARD FROM KILBOURNE IS BROTHER TO WITCHWAY TO KILBOURNE AND SHOTGUN ANNIEFROM KILBOURNE IS SISTER TO LADYGROVE BELLE STARR. We are glad to inform you that we together with our deerhounds took part in Internatinal Coursing Championship out here on 16th of May. We started to train our dogs for coursing some time ago at the filds that placed near our kennel. And we noticed that they ever had alot of fun during that practice so we were invited to join the championship and it was our first expirience of this kind of events.
So everything went great!!!! Wizzard and Annie had the exellent results: Wizzard - 341 points and Annie - 336 points (for example the winner of that championship - greyhound had around 370 points). And now they received their working coursing diplomas. We are so proud of them!
And as always they had alot of attention from everybody and even becam a part of video-shoot of one of TV-channels that was visiting the competition.
